On January 5th, the Rutgers Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing appointed WORC’s CEO, Dr. Ellen G. Frank-Miller, as an Executive Fellow for the 2025-2026 season.
Based in New Jersey, the Rutgers Institute studies “approaches that broaden financial participation and inclusion in the economy and business organizations, and allow employees to be fully engaged and share the rewards of their work.” Alongside fellowships, the Institute supports empirical research and policy analysis, and facilitates conferences where experienced voices in the field come together to share ideas and academic findings.
The Institute is based out of the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, a leading expert in the world of work and educating the next generation of Employee Ownership professionals.
Dr. Frank-Miller was appointed alongside 34 other experienced researchers in the field as part of the Institute’s Fellowship Initiative. The fellowship has been supporting independent researchers in the pursuit of developing the study of employee ownership for nearly two decades. With this appointment, WORC’s CEO joins the largest fellowship program at Rutgers University, with over 250 research fellows and faculty mentors worldwide.
